to join their diverse team!Salary/Hourly Rate:$75k - $95k Depending on experiencePosition Overview:In the role of Fashion Merchandiser, you will indeed be at the forefront of shaping the brand's product assortment, visual presentation, and overall merchandising strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to ensuring that the collections not only resonate with customers but also contribute to the company's growth objectives. Your influence will extend across various aspects of the business, from product development to retail execution, making your role pivotal in maintaining the company's position as a leading brand in the fashion industry.Responsibilities of the Fashion Merchandiser:

Assortment Planning: Collaborate with design, product development, and buying teams to curate seasonal product assortments that align with brand strategy, customer preferences, and market trends.

Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of products from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely introduction of new styles and clearance of discontinued items.

Visual Merchandising: Develop visual merchandising guidelines and standards for retail stores, ensuring that product displays and store layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for sales.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, sell-through rates, and product performance to optimize stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and maximize sales opportunities.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive threats, informing assortment decisions and merchandising strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, marketing, and retail operations, to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising initiatives.

Sales Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.

Customer Engagement: Stay attuned to customer feedback and insights to understand their needs, preferences, and shopping behaviors, integrating this knowledge into merchandising decisions.

Promotional Planning: Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to plan and execute promotional events, product launches, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.

Training and Development: Provide training and support to retail teams on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and visual presentation techniques to ensure consistent execution across stores.

Qualifications for the Fashion Merchandiser:

Experience in fashion merchandising, product development, retail buying, and creative direction.

Styling portfolio is a plus (attach PDF file to application).

Must have 4 - 6 years of experience.

Eye for design, color theory, and style.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interest in fashion, health, sports, and wellness is a plus.

Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe.
