We are hiring for an Internal Communications Manager!

This position will work with internal stakeholders, lead the development, management and execution of internal communication initiatives and processes including internal story/curation/capture, content creation, and tracking/metrics with the goal of reaching all National Vision internal audiences with key messages/information across brands, locations and functions.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

Leads the development/execution of internal communications strategy and processes that engages associates and optometrists across all brands, locations and functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.

Works with stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and execute corporate content calendar for all internal communications vehicles across organization (e.g., intranet, weekly mailings, e-mails, etc.).

Collaborates with the Communication Director and the External Communications Manager to ensure a cohesive communications plan in place for both internal and external channels for all company initiatives. Develops and distributes variety of content for internal channels.

Leads, manages and executes the messaging, presentation development and content creation for internal monthly and quarterly meetings.

Leads development, execution and distribution of annual materials/events including partner conference and field awards books, collaborating with key stakeholders.

Works with executive leadership to develop internal communication needs including emails, video messages and presentations.

Manages quarterly employee recognition program including gathering nominations, leading judging committee, announcement communications and prize distribution.

Provides day-to-day internal communications guidance and support for internal teams: Talent Development, Culture, Philanthropy, DEI, etc.

Partners with Communications Director on project-based communications support for the Clinical Services team, Remote Care team and Recruitment team.

Works with brand leaders to identify, execute and support communications needs (e.g., quarterly field newsletters, training/orientation content, etc.).

Manages and executes visual storytelling at Retail Support Center, Lawrenceville Lab and Distribution Center.

Manages vendors to execute projects (e.g., video teams, photographers, agency partners, etc.)

.Work Experience

6+ years related experience in internal communications, project management/coordination, and writing/story identification. (Required)

Experience with production management and vendor relations. (Preferred)

Able to maintain confidentiality and have a high level of discretion. (Required)

Coordinates ideas and resources to achieve goals. (Required)

Excellent organization, planning, judgment, and time management skills. (Required)

Excellent writing and editing skills. (Required)

Excellent PowerPoint skills. (Required)

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. (Required)

Strong problem solver, collaborator and team player. (Required)

Education

Four year college degree or equivalent experience. (Required)
