Join our dynamic team and be part of an organization dedicated to empowering women in business.Job Description:The Marketing & Communications Manager provides editorial oversight and project management for WBEC ORV activities. Works to increase awareness and access and help meet overall organizational strategic and revenue targets, while ensuring information is fresh, compelling, and relevant. Responsibilities include planning, executing & promoting WBEC ORV events, growing & managing social media and digital presence, acting as a liaison for the team both internally & externally to achieve objectives.WBEC ORV offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees which includes medical and dental insurance, as well as life and disability insurance, generous paid time off (sick and vacation time), paid holidays, and a 401(k)-retirement plan.Responsibilities:The Manager creates buzz and promotes sales/engagement through these programs/tasks:Creates Insight editorial calendar to include advertisements, events, and other relevant pieces.Runs weekly Call for Content meeting with members of various teams.Provides writing, editing and the deployment of all WBEC ORV emails with a focus on automation, where appropriate.Focuses on improving engagement with new and existing audiences, including use of new platforms and more effective management of current contacts and segments.Creates sponsored content emails (2-3 per quarter).Provides generalized marketing and communications support.Works with team to provide scripts, PowerPoints, programs copy, signage copy and email marketing for the WBEC ORV Annual Meeting.ADDITIONALLY, the manager:Provides writing, editing, review, design guidance and consistent tone for the WBEC ORV audience, maintaining an editorial calendar and working with staff, volunteers, subject matter experts for content.Prepares, polishes and refines content to make it meaningful and relevant to the selected audiences.Gathers metrics quarterly and shares analysis of email performance. Uses data to improve communication products.Works with the WBEC Business Development leader to manage sponsored content through direct mailings while documenting engagement and ensuring annual revenue targets are on track.Ensures WBEC ORV content is free of all errors, from grammatical and spelling to math (if appropriate) and design formatting.Keeps consistent adherence to professional writing standards and style guide throughout.Updates relevant projects in Asana for the team to track progress for the Promote team.MARKETING STRATEGYCoordinate with WBEC ORV team.Marketing strategy- Promotions & event tie-ins.Communicate details of upcoming events to stakeholders by circulating graphic flyers, weekly email summaries when necessary.Project management support of WBEC ORV databases to include: email campaigns, digital marketing, social media, events and programs.SOCIAL MEDIA/DIGITAL MARKETINGWork with department managers to develop programs and events features, videos & promotions.Produce and manage content for WBEC ORV social media platforms, integrating promotions/outreach events.Assist team to manage SEO/SEM, staff page & any other needs for the website.Other Duties and AssignmentsParticipates in and provides support for WBEC-ORV programs as directed by event staff and managers, including luncheons, evening receptions, training workshops, webinars or networking events as time and resources permit.Other Duties:Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success and growth of WBEC ORV.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social/digital communications, or related field preferred. Comparable education and experience will be considered.Three years progressively responsible professional experience in areas related to the position.Requires demonstrated experience with print and digital publishing, social media platforms and developing presentations using various software.Excellent writing and grammar skills and general communications abilities written, and verbal are required (a writing sample may be requested)Excellent analytical skills for tracking, measuring, and reporting.Requires a high level of personal and professional integrity and accountability.An exceptional communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills.Solid organizing, planning, tracking skills and attention to detail.Outstanding work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond.Must be adaptable and resilient: able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited resources.Ability to follow policies and procedures while keeping manager fully informed at all times of emerging issues and progress.May infrequently need to be available to work after hours for special events, conferences, or regional travel to conduct site visit interviews, when required.Non-profit sector familiarity is a plus.Passionate about diversity and women's entrepreneurship.Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business community.Working Conditions:This hybrid position has offices in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, with occasional local, regional travel.
