Women's Designer (Advanced Contemporary)

Our client

is an advanced contemporary women's apparel brand. They are looking for associate, mid and senior level candidates.Women's Designer Responsibilities:Oversee research and inspiration to create a cohesive concept each season, review emerging trends and shapes, and research local marketsDevelop flats and sketches for all designs as part of a cohesive seasonal collection aligned with the brand's overall aesthetic and visionPrepare all necessary components for design presentations, such as sketch boards, proto reviews, and production meeting preparationCollaborate with other Designers and various cross-functional teams and maintain strong business relationships with external partnersLead sample review sessions, provide recommendations, note feedback, and update sketches as necessaryWomen's Designer Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredMust have experience working for a small contemporary brand5+ years' experience as an Apparel DesignerTechnical knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, prints, colors, and trimsProficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
