High school diploma or equivalentEntry Level PositionLicense, Certification, Registration:
Complete and Pass State of Alaska HIPAA courseMedical Terminology Certification within nine months of hireExcel Certification within nine months of hireEquipment/Tools:
Basic office equipment and computersSpecialized Knowledge and Skills:
One (1) year working in customer service field with computersOne (1) year working in Microsoft OfficeSix (6) months experience as a Medicaid Prior Authorization IIType 40 words per minuteWritten, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced office independentlyAbility to multi-task between different computer programs, retaining different passwords as neededSupervisory Responsibilities: Assist Supervisor with overseeing daily operations of Medicaid Prior Authorization Specialist I & II.Benefits Include:
