Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Specialist to join one of our clients headquartered in Spartanburg, SC. This role involves owning various projects, tasks, and initiatives to support our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing or advertising, with a preference for those who have experience in a marketing or advertising agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute marketing projects, tasks, and initiatives.
Collaborate with agencies to oversee digital and social media campaigns.
Interact with franchisees and corporate teams to implement various strategies, including new menus and POS systems.
Ensure effective communication and coordination with agencies handling content creation and posting.
Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple projects.
Adapt quickly to new software and internal platforms such as Smart Sheets and Workday.
Understand and manage costs associated with marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
2-5+ years of experience in a marketing or advertising role, preferably within an agency.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
Experience working with franchisees and corporate teams on diverse strategies.
Basic understanding of digital and social media campaigns.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and platforms.
Experience with Smart Sheets and Workday is a plus.
Background in the restaurant industry is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience working on the client side with an agency.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with agencies to push out content and manage campaigns.
Proven track record of being proactive and fitting well within a team culture.
