Amazon Web Services’ Global Growth Marketing team is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to build out global engagement and activation programs for AWS self-service customers. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in crafting and establishing customer engagement experiences. This role will work to leverage AWS events to attract new customers and increase service utilization among our existing customer base. Collaboration will extend across a variety of global teams encompassing the entire AWS ecosystem. The focal point of this role lies in deploying initiatives that captivate customers, encouraging the adoption of new services while concurrently contributing to bottom-line growth.

Our ideal candidate has creative ideas combined with analytic and data-driven B2B experience, and the ability to work both strategically and tactically to generate innovative ideas for growth and execute best-in-class programs. The ability to effectively program manager projects, influence partner roadmaps, and collaborate across a variety of internal teams and multiple stakeholders is critical. They are detail-oriented, organized, comfortable dealing with the ambiguity of rapidly changing priorities, and have strong relationship-building skills.

This role can be located in Seattle, New York, Austin, or Atlanta.

Key job responsibilities

Create and build new solutions that drive customer engagement, activation, and retention

Develop an understanding of the drivers of customer purchase behavior and service usage and translate those insights into go-to-market programs, campaigns, and promotions.

Conceptualize and define program measurement (including driving revenue, service usage, account signup, and utilization.)

Identify and take advantage of opportunities for program and channel optimization; use data to surface recommendations for program improvements; feel comfortable diving deep and troubleshooting as issues arise.

Develop and evolve programs across a variety of channels (such as email, paid social, web, etc.)

Manage global stakeholders – closely collaborate with stakeholders from all parts of the AWS ecosystem including global field marketing teams, global events teams, developer relations, and training and certification.

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights

Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
