The Global Demand Center (GDC) is leading the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. The Modern Work and Security Direct team is tasked with building world-class direct businesses to win share and grow revenue, partnering across marketing, engineering, research, data science and finance. We are looking for an entrepreneurial marketer to define and drive the new customer growth strategy for the Microsoft 365 direct business for small-medium businesses. There is tremendous opportunity for impact by optimizing existing and creating new customer purchase motions at scale through a data-driven, experiment-based approach.

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft 365 for new customer growth, you will have the opportunity to shape our overall approach, demonstrate cross-functional leadership, and deliver performance insights across a scale subscriber business. You will be accountable for delivering our new customer growth and revenue aspirations. Responsibilities

Define our approach develop core web growth strategy and orchestrate the end-to-end plan.

Define our success measures and land objectives and key results (OKRs) to create accountability.

Create a rapid experimentation and data driven environment to drive ongoing improvements.

Research cross-sell and upsell industry best practices.

Lead the business across functions. Bring together dozens of cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, commerce and more.

Lead prioritization discussions to maximize near-term impact and build for the future.

Be the voice, ambassador, authority, and owner of our work with leadership.

Deliver performance insights. Deliver real-time, deep performance insights across our scale subscriber base.

Understand customer purchase journeys and pain points.

Create visibility of investment opportunities and progress blockers with leadership.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

5 years of marketing, product management or subscription lifecycle experience.

Strategic thinking complemented with high attention to detail, a bias for action and execution/operational excellence.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrix environment, deal with ambiguity, and create clarity for people and teams.

Proven track record of collaboration, influencing others and communicating with executive audiences.

Analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem solving.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
