ROLE SUMMARY

With extremely successful launch of Vyndaqel/Vyndamax for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), Pfizer cemented its position as a global leader in the field of ATTR-amyloidosis. Vyndamax/Vyndaqel represents US Commercial priority brands, the anchor brand for the Rare Disease BU. There is an exciting opportunity to join Vyndamax at the crucial midpoint of its lifecycle, with 4 entrants joining the competitive landscape in an 18-month time frame.

The US Vyndamax HCP Marketing Director, is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and high-science loving colleague looking for a mission critical HCP marketing role on a highly visible, priority brand. This role will oversee strategy, development, and execution of the key HCP initiatives in dynamic competitive environment to maintain Vyndamax as the standard of care. The HCP director will be responsible for leveraging customer insights to accelerate and transform Vyndamax professional promotion and enable exceptional customer experiences. The candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to engage and lead people, have excellent communication skills, high learning agility and comfort with a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to work seamlessly with cross functional partners, including customer facing colleagues.

This position will report to US Vyndamax HCP Team Lead

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead evolution of HCP strategy, including campaign development and messaging

Lead field-based activities for priority account focused field force, including development of promotional materials

Partner and align with Sales leadership to develop plan for National Sales Meetings and effectively communicate brand strategies leading to effective execution

Lead HCP competitive efforts; monitor & evaluate evolving competitive landscape, generate customer insights, and put in place appropriate strategies

Lead the development and execution of HCP market research plan in partnership with ISE

Manage HCP Marketing Associate and secondee

Support operating plan and lead HCP tactical plan

Serve as the lead for the HCP Agency of Record, ensure effective management of OPEX, including escalating needs for budget re-allocation and/or investment and preparing for resource allocation decisions

Work with analytics colleagues to understand performance trends & identify growth opportunities for the brand

Function as a leader on the Marketing team and represent Vyndamax on pan-Pfizer, enterprise initiatives

Coordinate and align work across cross-functional and marketing colleagues, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure strategic and tactical alignment and execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred

10 years of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience

Previous in-line US marketing direct experience with focus on HCP stakeholders (i.e. Sales)

Proven track record of synthesizing complex information & distilling critical customer insights

Demonstrated ability to execute complex marketing programs that drive performance

Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with experts from cross-functional areas with ability to mobilize and lead key stakeholders

Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management

Clearly articulates business direction and priorities

Demonstrated creativity and innovative idea development

Detail and action oriented; strong analytical skills

High level change agility, flexibility, and comfort with addressing and adapting to ambiguity

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
