Marketing and Event Specialist

Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) is seeking a full-time Marketing and Event Specialist to develop communications and marketing content for the Get Covered Collaborative Navigator program in South Dakota. This is a full-time remote position with a physical location in South Dakota.

Marketing and Event Specialist role:

This position is responsible for developing CHAD communications and marketing content for the Get Covered Collaborative Navigator program. This position will focus on developing and implementing marketing content to support effective outreach to individuals in need of health insurance, including rural communities, low-income individuals, American Indians, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and Medicaid-eligible consumers who are not enrolled in coverage. This position enhances CHAD's ability to support member health centers serving low-income, geographically isolated, minority, homeless, and migrant populations in both North and South Dakota.

What you bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, communications, marketing, or related field preferred.Commitment to learning about life experiences of individuals facing barriers to health coverage, such as poverty, cultural backgrounds, and languages.Experience in graphic design or related field (marketing/sales, art, animation, video, or audio production).Advanced digital skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Word Press content management platforms, Microsoft applications, and other digital content management platforms including social media.A background or knowledge of health care or health insurance environment is preferred, and/or experience working in a non-profit environment.
