Ackerman Cancer Center, the pioneering leader in cancer treatment, is seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Marketing/Community Relations Intern to join our team for the Fall 2024 semester. This position is ideal for undergraduate students seeking hands-on experience in community relations/marketing and a chance to apply marketing principles and best practices outside the classroom.

Position OverviewThe Marketing/Community Relations Intern will support the marketing and community outreach efforts of Ackerman Cancer Center This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development and implementation of marketing strategies, enhancing community engagement, and promoting ACC's brand. The intern will work closely with the marketing team, community partners, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective communication.

Essential Job FunctionsAssist in creating and curating content for social media platforms, newsletters, blogs and the practice’s website.Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional events.Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive landscape.Collaborate with the Senior Community Relations Specialist and third-party vendors to provide guidance on designing marketing materials.Assist in planning and organizing community events, sponsorships, and partnerships.Provide general administrative support to the marketing and community relations teams as needed.RequirementsRequired

Seeking Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communicationsStrong oral & written communication skillsProficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and graphic design softwareStrong project management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively

Hours : 20-25 hours per week
