Fitness Studio Manager (4-Month Contract)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fitness Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of a pop-up fitness studio for reputual Athletic Apparel Brand. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and fitness, have excellent leadership skills, and possess a strong business acumen to drive high level. The Fitness Studio Manager will ensure a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the fitness studio, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.Become an expert in operating Studio equipment, A/V, and infrastructure.Maintain the facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment.Restocking Studio Amenities and Supplies such as but not limited to Towels, Merchandise, equipment, etcManagement of recurring janitorial, maintenance and other vendor

Class Schedule Coordination and Trainer Collaboration:

Collaborate with fitness instructors, personal trainers, and support staff to execute successful classes.Foster a positive team environment and promote professional development opportunities for staff.Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure high standards of service and performance.Management of CXP (consumer experience platform) for registering and checking in class attendees, visitors and guests.Ability to work independently and collaborate with Leadership Team

Client + Customer Service:

Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all studio staff, guests, and visitors.Build relationship and collaborate with client(s) as neededEnsure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing trainer/ guest concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.Develop and implement member engagement and retention strategies.Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor, building relationships with members and encouraging a supportive community atmosphere.Capturing Trainer and member feedback for optimize efficiency and drive a premium level service for the studioExcellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email

Special Events:

Support and promote special events, workshops, and promotional activities within the studio spaceCoordination and management of vendors during Special EventsAbility to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe and secure environment for members and staff.Develop and implement emergency procedures and response plans.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred in Sports Management, Exercise Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in fitness facility management, hospitality or a related field.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of fitness industry trends and best practices.CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Proficiency in using fitness management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Work up to 40 hours per week
