About the role

This position represents the pinnacle of marketing leadership within Kerry's Proactive Health division. The role encompasses oversight of the marketing function across six health platforms and activation marketing within Kerry's four global regions. This leader will be entrusted with a unique blend of brand and performance marketing responsibilities, as well as the strategic direction of the innovation pipeline for the Proactive Health division.

In brand marketing, the role involves shaping the Proactive Health Masterbrand and its architecture to enhance both visibility and consumer engagement across the entire portfolio. In performance marketing, the leader will spearhead Account Based Marketing initiatives in each region to drive B2B customer pipeline opportunities. Additionally, the innovation aspect of this role requires guiding the future development of our six health platforms, leveraging data and pioneering solutions to address significant health challenges.

Key responsibilities

Lead the Proactive Health brand development including: brand architecture, brand heart creation/refinement, technology naming strategy, modes-of-action visualization, and all other science visualization.In partnership with your marketing direct reports in each of the 6 Health Platforms, create the innovation pipeline strategies for all Health Platforms and respective Need States within each.Execution on the pipeline strategy by first determining what new need-states to focus on given incidence data and right to win, ensuring a balanced innovation pipeline across short, mid, and long term, and working with the Health Platform R&D and Product teams to validate these pipeline choices via clinical trials and optimal technology choices (build vs. buy).In partnership with your marketing regional leads and agency partners, lead and execute Account Based Marketing programs (ABM) that result in customer pipeline value worth at least 2x the cost of acquisition.In partnership with M&A strategy team, determine the optimal "bolt-on" acquisition targets to build the product pipeline if a "build" approach is not sufficient.Ability to step in and provide clear direction for any of the 6 health categories including: Women's Health, Infant Health, Immune Health, Cognitive Health, Digestive Health, and Strategic Ingredients. Experience in any/all of these categories is a must.Lead the continuous "where to play" and "how to win" strategy exercise for Proactive Health including lead countries, lead products in scope per country, pipeline strategies per region/country, and A&P allocation optimization across your lead countries and products/brands.Lead a team of experienced marketers within the Health Platforms and Regional teams and continually build industry-best talent via internalQualifications and skills

BA or MBA in Marketing, Business or equivalent.10+ years of experience in B2B commercials roles, with experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, Health & Wellness ingredients or FMCG.Health & Wellness / Supplements / Functional Food & Beverage market experience is a significant advantage.Experience in leading marketing teams across both developed and developing marketsA track record of developing and executing portfolio/product strategies, to drive market growth globally.Has a strong comprehensive knowledge of the potential markets, channels, customers and end-use applications for Kerry technologies/product groups in area of responsibility.High ROI B2B Account Based Marketing (ABM) track-record.Track record of leading large marketing budgets and continually optimizing ROI and ROASTrack record of developing and launching both commercial innovation and new-product innovation.Global marketing and people-leadership experience ideally across both developed and developing markets.Experience in any/all of these health categories is a must: Women's Health, Infant Health, Immune Health, Cognitive Health, Digestive Health, and Strategic Ingredients (Omega 3, etc).Having experience in B2HCP (business-to-doctors) is a considerable advantage. Leading people and teams within a global matrix organization is also essential. Moreover, it's important to lead global strategies while ensuring local execution in partnership with local teams.Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams (commercial, R&D, M&A, product management, regulatory, finance) and engage audiences with an aligned brand vision and strategy.Willingness and availability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Base Salary Transparency:

Typical base salary range for this position is $172,749 to $271,038
