As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders across AWS Marketing to develop solutions including automation, optimization, and process improvement for strategic marketing programs like budgeting, new hire onboarding, business reporting, and other special projects.

Key job responsibilities

Lead budget management operations and support the team with contract and vendor setup

Manage org wide headcount and standard operating procedures

Wiki Creation and upkeep for the MISE organization

Design and maintain an intake mechanism for the MISE team

Project management for the organization via Workfront

New hire enablement and process creation

Rhythm of Business coordination and project management

About the team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

3+ years experience in program or project management and with project management (Workfront, Asana, Smartsheet) tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics to define areas of opportunity.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
