We have an opportunity available for a Sr Web Developer. The Sr Web Developer will primarily work within our company’s E-Commerce environment, enhancing and evolving it to improve the online customer experience and generate additional revenue. The ideal candidate will have a desire to collaborate across department lines, be involved in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and seek professional growth opportunities through continued learning of both the Takkt Foodservices business and the company website architectures. Being a self-starter is a key attribute for success in this position.

What you will do:

Configure and develop company website enhancements. Build, design, and maintain all websites and software applications.

Design, write, and edit website content.

Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.

Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs.

Executes assignments using web applications, scripts, and programming languages and APIs.

Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.

Design assignments with web services like JSON, REST and SOAP, etc.

Evaluate written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.

Address and resolve help desk tickets specific to the company website and its integrations with other systems

What we need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other relevant degree

Minimum 3 years of E-Commerce website development (Magento 2 preferred)

Minimum 2 years of development with Java, Javascript, HTML, PHP, SQL, and/or CSS

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins

Plus: Experience with API development/testing tools, Microsoft and LAMP web stacks, Agility, Pentaho, Splunk, and/or RabbittMQ
