What Content Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

The Content Marketing team is responsible for partnering with marketing and cross functional teams across the Medical Segment organization to deploy, measure and optimize omnichannel marketing strategies used to attract, engage and retain an audience. We do this by creating and sharing valuable, relevant and consistent content to establish expertise, promote brand awareness and drive demand.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager that specifically supports the Specialty Medical Products* marketing teams. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the recommendation, execution and deployment of cohesive content marketing strategies based on business objectives. The ideal candidate will have digital marketing experience, a positive attitude and be highly motivated. This individual will report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager who will provide supportive guidance over the content strategies the Manager proposes and will be expected to work on projects of medium to high complexity.

*Specialty Medical Products include the following portfolios: enteral feeding devices, compression, monitoring, surgical gloves and Sustainable Technologies.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Specialty Medical Products organization to develop thoughtful omnichannel campaigns to help achieve strategic goals

Drive global content strategy to ensure consistent communication about our products around the world

Works with multiple cross functional partners to execute end-to-end content development and strategic deployment including management of the copy clearance process

Apply excellent digital marketing expertise by identifying, executing and/or managing digital tactics/channels including, email, SEO/SEM, social media, programmatic and native advertising

Establishes KPIs for content strategies to optimize spend, track campaign performance and ultimately measure ROI

Capture, review and recommend actionable optimizations related to content performance metrics

Exemplifies excellent project management skills to deliver projects on time

Provide SG&A budget planning consultation and spend management support for content marketing efforts

Develop creative briefs for content marketing efforts

Craft SOWs and manage relationships with agencies

Drive content marketing best practice and process improvement

Evaluates emerging technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Collaborates with internal teams and vendor partners to achieve desired results

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

4+ years of experience in related field, preferred

2 - 5 years of digital marketing experience, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy.

Medical device, healthcare marketing, advertising agency, and/or product management experience, preferred

Technical skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Digital marketing experience, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy highly preferred

Experience in Pardot, Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Amp script

Basic Photoshop and Dreamweaver experience

Proficient computer skills and understanding of project management systems (e.g., Workfront, Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams), preferred

Experience with managing industry trade pubs, webinars, etc. preferred

Understanding of HTML, CSS and Amp script, preferred

Content development experience in healthcare preferred

Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent presentation skills – ability to create and give PowerPoint based presentations

Detail oriented, highly organized with exceptional project management skills

Ability to work well independently and within a team setting, including across multiple internal teams and geographies

Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

Capable of multi-tasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments in a fast-paced environment

Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done

Other

Ability to travel 10-15% of the time

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $112,100
