The Marketing & Creative Services Director is a dynamic storyteller passionate about art and interiors. They are dedicated to delivering a comprehensive brand experience and drive all facets of KBAA's marketing strategy and execution. In addition, this role partners with KBAA Art Directors to support key creative service initiatives, improve efficiencies and workflow, and ensure that our creative output is aligned with KBAA brand standards. The marketing team is a lean group, requiring all members to possess the ability to be a strategic leader and a willingness to jump in and get things done. This role requires high creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication and project management skills.This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Creative Services.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Work closely with VP of Marketing & Creative Services and VP of Sales on all branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across all departments/all channelsServe as the "editor-in-chief" for KBAA collateral and assets used to support various marketing initiatives and sales engagementsCollaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop relevant marketing content that articulates KBAA's benefits and meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience(s)In partnership with the sales and creative teams, identify and create content needed for all phases of the project lifecycleCoordinate and manage third-party resources, including outside creative and event agencies, photographers, videographers, etc.Manage the documentation process of high-visibility projects from initial production to final photography as well as plan, coordinate, and execute still and video shoots on behalf of the companySet up a process for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring contentIn partnership with art directors, oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new creative team membersIterate, maintain and increase the use of the Digital Asset Management systemManagement of new artist onboarding processDevelop and implement social content strategy across social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram)Support implementation of marketing assets through website (Wordpress) and email (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot)Support other marketing and creative initiatives as needs ariseKEY ATTRIBUTES:A creative eye with a passion for businessInspired by and committed to delivering an exceptional brand experienceAbility to multitask and produce a large volume/variety of workAwareness of and interest in ongoing design and market trendsExcellent planning and organization skillsA people person with strong interpersonal skills, team building, and collaborationExtremely organized and efficient multitaskerExcellent communicator; calm under pressureREQUIREMENTS:A minimum of 8-10 years of significant experience, including 5+ years directly managing, including recruitment, hiring, and professional developmentInterior design, creative agency, or art-focused industry experience a plus5+ years of experience in marketing or creative content management roleEditorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and knowledge of producing compelling content across multiple mediums/channelsExperience in quick-moving and cross-functional focused environmentStrong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlinesCollaborative and team-oriented approachStrong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlinesExcellent communication skills, written and verbalBachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent working experienceIndependent operator with a self-starter attitude who can own projects from start to finishWordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign skills are a plusA sense of humor and the ability to have funTravel required as needed
