Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Expert with a strong background in molecular biology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user interface design principles, a focus on usability, and experience conducting user studies. Familiarity with design tools like Figma is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and improve user interfaces for our lab management and electronic lab notebook software.Conduct usability studies and user research to gather feedback and make data-driven design decisions.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best user experience.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and best practices.Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in the life sciences or healthcare sector.Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and projects.Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.Experience conducting user research and usability testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills:
Experience with lab management software or electronic lab notebooks.Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic front-end development skills.Understanding of the unique needs and workflows in a laboratory setting.What We Offer:
