POSITION: Sales & Marketing Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Junior Marketing Assistant for ASM Global/Caesers Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for assisting the Marketing team in the promotion of the venues and all events at the ASM Managed Complex, assisting the Sales team with administrative tasks and other needed tasks not defined, and supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing. This includes, but is not limited to, various administrative duties, social media, and email marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Resize tour artwork and photos for the website

Assist in the creation of a monthly draft of The Front Row e-Newsletter

Develop and monitor monthly social media calendar, including posting and scheduling posts for Facebook, X, Tik Tok and Instagram

Assist in the creation of post-event marketing reports

Assist in writing copy for various marketing collateral, quarterly, and annual reports, and e-Newsletters

Assist in the development of monthly social media and Google Analytics reports

Assist in creating and implementing grassroots marketing to increase ticket sales for events at all venues

Assist with updating event graphics in weekly ASM advertisements

Assist with generating email reports in Ticketmaster engage

Assist with tracking traffic for all marketing campaigns and online assets in Ticketmaster One

Assist with television and radio monitoring of media coverage regarding our facilities and providing weekly reports

Assist with updating elevator and suite signage at the Smoothie King Center based upon current event schedule

Assist in general marketing planning and reporting

Assist in media coordination and escorting for concerts as needed

Assist with creating and managing all purchase requests, invoices, and the tracking of show expenses.

Assisting with calendar management for the DOSM.

Creating, putting together and shipping of client gifts.

Creating Event Sheets for Private and Internal Events.

Working with the DOSM to update, monitor and develop the internal CRM system, INFOR.

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must successfully pass a criminal background check

Must be at least 18 years of age

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Detail-oriented

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to multi-task with ease

Ability to physically move around the facility

Ability to work a flexible schedule which can include some nights and weekends along with primary business operating hours of 9 am – 5 PM.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Public Relations; preferred

Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Well-versed in social media platforms: Facebook, X, Tik Tok, and Instagram

Copy-writing experience
