This position involves leading a team of UX designers, collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders, and ensuring design consistency and excellence across multiple projects.Job Overview This job is responsible for creating exceptional user experiences for nuclear business unit specific applications. The Principal User Experience Web Designer works cross-functionally and collaboratively to design the graphical user interface and experience for applications and websites, guiding developers through fulfilling the design experience.Job Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with product management and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experienceExecutes all visual design stages from concept to a collaborative hand-off with software developersConceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocksDemonstrates both user interface and user experience concepts to product managementPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExpertise in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similarStrong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principlesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the userExperience with user research methodologies and usability testingExperience: 6+ yearsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in the energy or utility sectorFamiliarity with Design Thinking and Agile development processesCertification in UX design or related disciplinesProcess Improvements Six Sigma Certifications a plusEmployee Group:
