The Creative X AI Gen team aims to democratize access to high-quality ad creatives (images, videos, etc.) by building generative AI-driven solutions for advertisers. To accomplish this, we are investing in text-to-image, text-to-video, and text-to-text models that will allow advertisers to generate high-quality and effective creative content quickly. The capabilities we develop will be deployed for use by advertisers and agencies. We are seeking an experienced product manager who is adept at a variety of skills, especially in working with science, development, and design teams. The right candidate will have a strong interest and aptitude in learning generative AI science, a track record of working with science teams and launching innovative products, and a keen eye for creative quality.

Key job responsibilities

Collaborate closely with leading scientists to develop prototypes and validate new conceptsCraft AI-first experiences by working closely with designers, scientists, and cross-functional teamsDevelop a strategic vision for generative AI solutions that address customer and advertiser needsCreate various product artifacts, such as shaping documents, BRDs, PR FAQs, and moreAnalyze voice-of-the-customer feedback and quality benchmark results to inform decision-makingStay up-to-date with industry publications and new developments in the fieldShip gen AI products with significant customer and advertiser impact

A day in the life

Work hand in hand with scientists on problems large and small to drive your inventions forwardConduct customer interviews, deep dive into Gen AI tools and dataReview the latest in Gen AI tech, to stay up to date on advancementsQuarterback a cross functional team through design, development, launch

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams6+ years of technical product or program management experienceExperience working directly with applied and/or research scientists

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalentHands on experience developing and launching generative AI products or features

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
