Guayaki is looking for a strategic and visionary Sports Marketing Manager to spearhead and execute the brand's sports strategy! The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for all things sport, exceptional marketing skills, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns with sports connectivity at the core. This role will be responsible for managing all marketing initiatives related to sports partnerships, events, teams, and athletes - all while driving brand awareness and engagement through innovative strategies. This person will have deep relationships in all aspects of sports including teams, leagues, agents, athletes and agencies.This role will work closely with the community, communications, partnership, events and creative team(s) to meet overall partnership goals, deliverables and benchmarks. Essential to the position is the ability to relationship build and insert the brand into the evolving sports narrative. We are looking for a strong sports expert who values Guayaki's culture and has a passion for building.This a hybrid position, and this person will be expected to be in our Venice Beach office at least 2 times a week.How you'll help:Develop and execute comprehensive sports marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, awareness and engagement within the sports landscapePlan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns for sports events, sponsorships, and partnerships.Identify and negotiate partnerships with sports organizations, teams, and athletes. Manage and leverage these relationships to maximize brand exposure and awareness.Oversee the marketing and promotion at any partner sports events including promotional activities and on-site production.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and target audience preferences. Use insights to refine sports marketing strategies and tactics.Collaborate with internal team and external partners to create marketing content.Ensure consistent and effective brand messaging across all marketing channels and maintain brand integrity in all sports-related activities.Monitor and analyze the performance of sports marketing campaigns and initiatives. Prepare reports and provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.Develop and manage sports marketing budget.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, communications, growth marketing, creative and catalyst partnership team(s) o align strategies and achieve common goals.Work closely with PR team to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, sports influencers, and industry professionals to secure coverage and enhance brand reputation.

What you'll bring to the table:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration or a related field.4-5 years of experience in sports marketing with a proven track record of successful marketing executions.Strong understanding of sports culture, trends and industry; ability to create innovative marketing strategies with sports at the epicenter.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience collaborating with multiple key stakeholders across the organization.Proven desire and ability to think creatively coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple partners, conversations and priorities simultaneously.Successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and be able to work both independently and within a team.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic and evolving environment.Previous experience in food, beverage or CPG a plus.Ability to travel 30-40% of time.

What we offer:The pay range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors; actual pay offered may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Sales commissions and/or variable pay plans are also offered depending on the position (ex: monthly, quarterly, annual bonuses).
