Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create captivating visuals for a range of products, packaging, and digital platforms.SalaryStarting $66,560.00Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, social media, product development, and packaging teams to understand design requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.Create innovative designs for cannabis products: Develop visually appealing graphics for various cannabis products, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, extracts, and accessories, while adhering to regulatory guidelines.Communicate product information effectively: Develop designs that effectively communicate product information, brand identity, and compliance requirements to consumers.Stay updated on design trends: Keep abreast of current design trends and industry standards to ensure our designs remain contemporary and visually impactful.Design functional product packaging: Utilize your understanding of industrial design principles to create aesthetically pleasing and functional product packaging.Develop branding elements: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop branding elements such as logos, typography, and color schemes that align with Natura's brand guidelines.Coordinate with external vendors: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure successful execution of designs during the production process.Conduct market research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify design opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.Maintain visual identity: Ensure consistency and brand recognition by maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all design elements.Basic Qualifications:Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably within the cannabis industry or a highly regulated industry.Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating visually appealing and functional designs for products and packaging.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Google Suite, Canva, and social editing tools.Skills in video editing, with experience in creating compelling visual content.Proficiency in digital rendering techniques and related software.Experience in packaging design and print proofing is highly desired.Understanding of regulatory requirements and design limitations within the cannabis industry.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment, thriving under pressure and tight deadlines.Passion for the cannabis industry and an understanding of its unique consumer landscape.
