US50714The Director, Brand Creative is a key leadership role responsible for establishing, guiding, and curating how the QVC brand shows up to our target consumer across all advertising and marketing touchpoints. You will set the creative direction for the brand and be responsible for driving the brand's point of view through marketing. Your creative leadership will inspire storytelling that is emotionally, culturally relevant and unique to the brand. This leader will report to the VP of Brand Marketing and will help evolve the brand equity, voice and visual identity. Helping to bring creative vision to life, this person will guide storytelling and consumer engagement and ensure consistency of all marketing touchpoints for QVC US.

As a key leader within our fast-paced business, you will need to be an owner of your work and thrive in a frequently ambiguous environment. To be successful in this role a candidate must be able to be nimble and responsive when opportunities or challenges arise. We are looking for a creative visionary who can roll up their sleeves. The ideal candidate can make the most from partnerships with external agencies and directly create in-house, where no job is too small for great creative thought. Strong cross functional skills are important, working closely with live production on-air graphics team, the digital creative team and other internal QVC creative teams to deliver our world class retail entertainment offering.

Key Responsibilities:

Influence and guide creative partners (advertising agencies, internal creative services teams and external creative collaborators) and stakeholders to execute overall creative direction in line with brand strategy. Inspire teams to think conceptually and develop big ideas while concurrently supporting the team to bring the ideas to life.Lead/guide the QVC visual brand and voice representation across all areas including live broadcast, advertising, marketing, social, digital and direct mail including all internal and external assets.Lead the creative development of robust brand advertising and marketing campaigns in support of key tentpole events, activations, launches and other moments.Articulation of creative vision for each of our initiatives that guide and inspire both internal and external teams in execution of work that delivers on strategic messaging goals.Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all parts of the business and earn trust through consistent, highly effective work.Execute a full range of creative assets for various internal clients (Executive Leadership, PR, Merchandising, other) as needed to support the QVC business.Build and lead a team of world class creatives pioneering our ambitionsKey Accountabilities:

Creative Strategy & Direction

Develops and oversees brand standards, guidelines, and best practices for elevating and refining QVC and Age of Possibility brand positioning, messaging, and aesthetics, drawing cohesion across all touchpoints. Establishes and directs the look, feel and voice for brand content. Develop key messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the brand's value proposition.Provide visionary leadership to the creative team, setting strategic direction and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.Leads QVC's brand strategy - developing and innovating a brand position that meets business goals and supports brand-led growth while driving vision and buy-in across internal and external stakeholders.Works with stakeholders across Brand Marketing and other teams to influence and support development of collateral materials and messaging that align with the brand vision and company goalsAn internal champion of the brand ensures that all teams understand and champion our brand mission and messaging. Advocates for the brand by establishing how QVC and Age of Possibility are integrated into each piece of content.Lead effectively in a fast paced and highly matrixed environment • Promote creative improvement and development contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.Create unique value propositions based on unmet human needs, societal trends, and product proof pointsArticulate compelling insights-based narratives and create visual expressions that resonate with customers and drive brand loveOrchestrate brand-defining creative solutions that address strategic business objectives.Develop creative concepts that differentiate the brand and resonate with the target audience.Utilize consumer insights and market data to inform creative decisions and refine campaign strategies.Operational Accountabilities

Manages creative agency partnerships including creative strategy development and maintenance, brand materials, and creative content in support of brand advertising and other brand, social and customer marketing initiatives.Oversees creative budget including external and internal consulting, contracting, agency and production costs.Supports cross functional and executive teams in development of brand pitch decks, for new brand acquisition, talent acquisition, partnerships and more; Investor and Board meeting materials; etc.Leadership

Coaches, manages, mentors team. Responsible for hiring and performance management of a cross functional team of writers, designers, producers, editors across platforms.Develop a team of future leaders and world-class content creators.Effectively influence and guide cross functional creative teams, and agency partnersCritical Skills/Knowledge

Strong storyteller with a broad understanding of the various tools and techniques that can be employed to keep a consumer engaged and delighted.Effective problem-solver and strategic thinker; demonstrated ability to translate complex strategy and messaging goals into clear, compelling creative that breaks through.Exceptional communication skills - Efficient and clear in day-to-day correspondence as well as when providing notes/feedback to partner teams or supporting team members. zExcellent presentations skills. Ability to craft compelling narratives and guide audiences through work to drive successful outcomes and facilitate rich debate and discussion.High emotional intelligence - able to manage tricky conversations, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.Ability to parse testing data and research insights to identify what elements should be incorporated into creative to ensure the optimal results.Ability to develop style guides and companion collateral to assist partners in executing creative.Strong familiarity with end-to-end production process for development of entertainment marketing assets including pre-production, shoots and post-production.Ability to inspire a team and lead creative design process; to set a creative tone and to inspire ideas/new concepts; ability to conceptually visualize and build brand assetsComprehensive experience managing multiple categories of retail.Qualifications

Bachelor's degreeExperience:

10+ years in experience developing Marketing creative across all channels (static, AV, digital) with emphasis in retailWell-rounded portfolio of work/experience demonstrating the ability to lead brand creative across platforms supporting marketing strategiesProven track record of providing visionary leadership to creative teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
