The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Marketer to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:Review insurance applications, gather necessary information about the applicant and the insured property or vehicle.Analyze risk factors.Educate customers on the benefits and features of coverages and productsPresent quotations, spreadsheets, schedules of insurance and proposals to clients.Interact and create relationships with producers, and carriersQualifications:
NY Insurance knowledgeIndependent usage and understanding of manual rating, eligibility and guidelinesKnowledge of specific carrier software to calculate premiumsKnowledge of excel a mustAbility to maintain detail records and explain rating decisionsKnowledge of HNW markets- Middle Markets carriers, Travelers, ProgressiveKnowledge of Flood, Workers Compensation and Builders Risk insuranceBenefits:
Compensation: $85,000-$90,000/yr.Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA/HSA plans.401(k) with company match.Additional voluntary benefits including Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity and Supplemental Life Insurance, Legal and Identity Protection, and Pet benefits.Generous PTO.An awesome team of professionals!
