Overview
The graphic designer is a creative and conceptual individual who has a passion for visual design and creation. The individual is versed in visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, event graphics, promotional materials, etc. You'll be the one to shape the visual aspects of textbooks, online and printed marketing, in-office design needs, and maintaining and growing the visual brand.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design a variety of promotional content for web, print, social, events, and other communication materials.Meet with various departments to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like.Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.Produce drafts for review and make revisions based on the feedback received.Review final productions for errors and ensure that final communications reflect the desired specifications.Update/create WordPress website pages and make sure they work on desktop and mobileMaintain and follow the Stukent Branding GuidePropose solutions and creative ways to promote Stukent productsMaintain graphic design skills and look for ways to continually improve and develop expertiseRequired Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years of graphic design experienceAdobe Creative Cloud software: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, XD, etc.Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent work experienceWeb design experience using Wordpress and ElementorKnowledge of motion graphics and HTML5 adsGreat communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamStrong knowledge of design principles such as layout, typography, and color theory abilitiesCreativity and flexibilityAttention to detailDeadline-oriented and ability to work under pressureExcellent multitasking and time-management skillsOpen to feedback and critiqueAbility to design for print and web on both small and large scaleUpbeat and hardworking attitude
