POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a skilled and imaginative UX/UI Designer seeking a freelance opportunity with a leading eCommerce agency? InteractOne, a well-established agency with over 26 years of experience, is currently looking for a Part-Time/Freelance Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll help create compelling and user-centric designs for our clients' eCommerce websites and our internal projects as we redesign key pages on our site.
We are specifically looking for a designer with strong technical experience in user experience design, preferably with expertise in eCommerce best practices, ADA compliance, and designing for online shopping. This position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance or freelancers looking to expand their portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in an eCommerce context.Proficiency in Figma, with experience creating mockups that effectively translate into being coded on platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, including ADA compliance and online shopping user experience.Ability to create mockups, wireframes, and final designs that are both visually appealing and highly functional.Experience working on Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress, and Magento platforms is a plus.Familiarity with current design trends and best practices in UX/UI.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with developers, marketers, and other team members.Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year of experience working as a UX Designer in a professional role, preferably within an eCommerce or digital marketing agency.An established portfolio showcasing eCommerce UX designs, including projects that demonstrate an understanding of ADA compliance and online shopping user experience.Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver high-quality work promptly.Availability during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9-5 EST) for the occasional virtual meetings and collaboration.A stable internet connection and a laptop or PC capable of supporting design software and virtual video conferences.Openness to receiving feedback and making improvements, as well as providing constructive feedback to the team.
