Intern User Experience Designer

We are currently seeking an

Intern User Experience Designer

to join our team. This position is responsible for working with UX Researchers and Designers on projects designed to refine and improve user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) with the Insperity website, apps, and internal tools.

Responsibilities

Learns and implements creative concepts.Helps produce scenarios, process flows, and wireframes.Works with user researchers to coordinate testing efforts.Takes notes and collects data during usability test sessions.Collects and analyzes survey data.Creates and presents reports on the results from research projects.Assists in competitor research studies.Applies conceptual strategy and actively participates in brainstorming sessions.Maintains knowledge of current design practices.Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.Coursework in graphic and/or interaction design.Hands-on experience designing and running UX research projects.Experience with survey design, interviewing, and creating usability studies.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or GSuite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).Ability to work in group settings and/or independently.Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects.Demonstrates problem-solving skills.Demonstrates creativity and innovation.
