We are scaling quickly and looking for passionate people to protect the next million families!About the Role:We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Associate Director, Marketing & Creative Strategy, to lead development of integrated marketing campaigns and oversee our creative and content strategy. This role will oversee the development and execution of a cohesive brand narrative across various channels, with a specific focus on content strategy, user-generated content (UGC) briefing and production, and integrated campaign production.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy that aligns with Ethos' brand goals, core values, and target audience needs.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content trends and opportunities within the life insurance industry.Conceptualize and oversee creation of engaging content formats (written, visual, audio) for various platforms (social media, website, email, etc.) to drive brand and acquisition.Manage and direct the production of integrated marketing campaigns, providing strategic guidance to creative agencies to ensure their work aligns with Ethos' brand vision, messaging strategy, and overall campaign goals. This includes collaborating on creative concepts, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a productive partnership.Lead the development of creative briefs for UGC and Influencer campaigns, ensuring clear direction and brand alignment while allowing for user authenticity in promoting the Ethos experience.Oversee the production of UGC content, collaborating with freelancers and agencies as needed.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in performance marketing and identify tactics to optimize content for reach and conversions that support our sales funnel.Analyze creative performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and refine content strategies accordingly.Establish a clear, differentiated, and compelling masterbrand identity.Align individual LOB positioning with the masterbrand strategy, while also developing unique value propositions.Oversee Ethos’ organic social channels and paid comment moderation, creating positive brand interactions for customers and prospects.Lead and mentor a team of content creators and marketing specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Product, Partnerships) to ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and campaign success across all touch points.Qualifications and Skills:10+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, content and creative strategy, or a related field.Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive measurable results.Strong understanding of user-generated content (UGC) strategies and experience creating effective UGC and Influencer briefs.Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and their application to content strategy.Experience in TV and audio production.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex creative concepts and brand messaging.Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team.Experience in either DTC or financial services is a plus.Strong understanding of design principles and visual storytelling.Experience with social media management tools and platforms.The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000 - $197,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
