Roget and is located in CA. Together with the Marketing Director, the position has a broad range of responsibilities including portfolio and brand strategy and plan development, business budgeting and financial analysis, cross-functional team leadership and innovation strategy and development. The Brand Manager has a range of brand responsibilities including:Develop and execute marketing programs and lead business analysis and project managementDevelop an overall marketing strategy to differentiate the brands, strengthen consumer awareness and overall engagementBe an active leader within the marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional groups across the organizationEffectively represent brands with our internal sales team, distributor network, retail trade and consumersResponsibilitiesResponsible for development and execution of strategic and annual marketing plans which address all aspects of the marketing mixEffectively manage external business partner relationship for Cook’s and J. RogetProven success at building, leading, and managing a direct report.Shared responsibility for the delivery of volume, share and profit objectives consistent with overall brand strategyBuild premium consumer / trade equity through the design and execution of consumer and trade strategies including pricing, packaging, promotion, public relations, digital advertising and consumer event activations, using market research where appropriate to inform strategiesLead development and execution of innovation pipelinePerform on-going business and competitive analyses and provide findings and recommendations for corrective action where appropriate to Senior ManagementManage brand projects, overall budget allocation, prepare and present branded presentations to both internal and external audiencesManage all outside agency initiatives in support of the brands’ business objectives including promotion/events agencies, digital media buying agencies if applicableWork with sales leadership, key on and off premise strategic accounts, internal field sales, and distributor personnel, to develop marketing programs and identify opportunities to expand the business in existing channels of tradeAnalyze and interpret P&Ls at the brand and product line levelsManage multi-year brand S&OP forecast with Operations team, including at-risk inventory reviewMulti-functional leadership: Drive stewardship of 360 programs and nurture collaborative working relationships—including leadership of quarterly/annual agency partnership meetingsVisit key markets in support of market blitzes, new product launches, surveys, etc. and report brand and competitive findings as well as any market driven recommendations to Senior ManagementSuccessfully communicate and work with key internal groups across the organization on a regular basis including; Trade Marketing, Lifestyle & Events, Public Relations, Field Marketing, Finance, Operations and WinemakingCommunicate on a regular basis with the Marketing Director, ensuring projects are on track, gaining support and guidanceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree, including 5+ years of experience in a Brand/Marketing Management position in a consumer products companySyndicated database experience (IRI or Nielsen), custom database experienceExperience in identifying key consumer insights and developing brand strategiesExperience managing agencies to create consumer facing, creative point of sale (POS)/ merchandising materials, which support brand positioningProven desire and ability to think creatively, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communications skills; very articulate, strong public speaking and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong cross functional skills, ability to work well within a teamExcellent organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize, and solid financial acumenStrong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);Successful candidate will be a very motivated self-starter and be able to work without daily guidancePreferred QualificationsMaster’s DegreeConsumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experiencePhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. The salary range for this role is:$128,700.00 - $201,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
