Responsibilities:
Uncapped Games of Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios is focused on creating an original, action-packed PC Real-Time Strategy game that has a low barrier to entry and is impossible to master. What we are looking for:Minimum of 5 years in game development with at least 1 shipped game as an Environment ArtistAbility to handle the various needs of environment art with a strong organizational senseComfort with exploring stylized asset creationStrong knowledge of PBR materials and workflowStrong grasp of composition, color, layout and lighting from an isometric game cameraProficiency in Maya/3DS Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Photoshop and other similar softwareA strong desire to achieve common goals with a team while having the awareness to maximize opportunities as an individual contributorPluses:Experience working with UnityExperience with various phases of game development (prototyping to live operations)A strong passion for the RTS genreLocation State(s)CaliforniaThe base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $69,600 to $283,200 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
