As Principal Product Designer at Pair Team, you will play a critical role in building a technology-enabled service that improves healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities. You will set the bar for product experience quality and partner with engineering, product management, data science, and operations to improve product experience. You will design for a range of end users, including Pair Team social workers, Pair Team clinicians, and case managers at non-profit organizations partnered with Pair Team.This is a fully remote position.What You’ll Do

Own the product design process end-to-end for products and features with high complexity and scope, including launching new products 0 to 1Collaborate with Pair Team’s current product designer in addition to product management, engineering, data science, and operations to conceptualize opportunities to improve our serviceDevelop artifacts to support the design process (eg, workflow diagrams, wireframes, user flows, UI design, and prototypes)Own the direction and improvements of Pair Team’s design system, balancing consistency and velocity improvements vs implementation costSet the bar for product experience quality for the product team both for projects you drive and the product experience as a wholeConduct customer research and leverage data insights while leading the research and discovery phase of the product design processWhat You’ll Need

8+ years of experience in product design building digital product experiences2+ years of experience with an early-stage startup in product designExperience partnering with operations stakeholders to improve complex workflowsExpert proficiency in UX and product design tools (eg, Figma)Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional thought partners (eg, engineering, design, data science, and operations)Ownership mindset and strong desire to work within a fast paced startup environmentPassion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorderDigital health experience is a plus but not requiredDesign system implementation is a plus but not requiredExperience working with data in a regulated environment is a plus but not required (eg, HIPAA, PII, financial data)Because We Value You:Competitive salary: $180,000 - 220,000
