The Visual Merchandiser is critical in ensuring we meet that goal, by implementing the visual merchandising strategy. This person creates appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store. This role reports directly to the Store Manager.
Some of the functions the Visual Merchandiser Associate will perform:
Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own ItResponsible for the overall presentation of the showroomExecutes floor set changes including new and discontinued itemsManagers inventory to discourage overages and shortagesAssists in fostering an energetic and positive working environmentListens to the customers' needs and presents possible optionsRequirements
The Ideal Candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosPossesses a strong sense of style and ability to create visually appealing displaysAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team membersTrack record of serving others and putting team goals firstOwners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibilityEmbody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the jobProactive approach; identifies and solves problemsAdaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environmentDesire to continuously improve
