At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. We're an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission: automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We aren't another out-of-touch tech startup, most of our team comes from construction.

We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows/ agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams' workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.

The Opportunity:

This role is the first marketing hire at Trunk Tools. You will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy to generate demand to support our revenue targets and promote the Trunk Tools brand as the leading company of AI in construction.

Given this is the first full-time position in the marketing function, you will play a critical role in setting up the tech stack and ensuring the Trunk Tools marketing org has data driven processes.

You will initially be responsible for growth marketing, product marketing, content marketing, and all other corporate marketing functions until the team is further built out.

What You'll Do:

Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing.Execute on marketing plans:

We do not have all of our tools, processes, and workflows built out yet. You will need to help build this out, figure out what works, and test and scale.Product Marketing : Gain a deep understanding of our audience, develop our positioning and messaging, and communicate about the product and its benefits to our audience.Growth Marketing:

Launch, track, and optimize programs/campaigns across multiple channels to move prospects and customers down the funnel.Content Marketing:

Own the content calendar and tell the Trunk Tools story to engage prospects, customers, candidates, and partners.Event Marketing: Own the Trunk Tools in-person event strategy, including determining which conferences and tradeshows to attend and ensuring the team gets appropriate visibilityComms:

Maintain relationships and communicate with press/media about the company, product, team, and brand.Brand:

Ensure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high quality bar.Partnerships & Customer Marketing:

Develop relationships with partners and customers that help us achieve goalsKPIs:

Manage the marketing budget, ensure we are operating efficiently, and meet metrics goals.Who you are:

5+ years of experience in marketing, including at SaaS companies with an enterprise sales modelExperience at a high growth early stage start-up or scale-upBreadth in all areas of marketing, depth in at least two of these areas: product marketing, corporate or content marketing, growth marketingHigh quality bar. You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand to hit revenue goals at the same time.Scrappiness and experimentation mindset. You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves, since we are still an early-stage company.You know how to balance short-term goals and long-term goals.You have recommendations for tools, contractors, etc to build out the foundation of a marketing team that can scale effectively.Motivated by our storyPreferred but not required:

Experience in construction tech and a strong understanding of the different personas within general contractors, subcontractors, and real estate owners

Salary: $130,000- $170,000 + equity
