Page Six is the must-see gossip section from the New York Post, the nation's oldest newspaper with the youngest, most ambitious video department. We want to make our mark in digital video and create memorable work and new watching habits among our audience. The legacy of the great headlines conveys the attributes of our videos: bold, irreverent, judgmental, confident and clever. We want to make videos that surprise viewers. We seek someone who believes news doesn't have to be boring to be news and who appreciates reality TV, celebrity gossip, feuds, scandals and hookups. Let's talk!

We are currently seeking an Intern for our Page Six video department. You have a keen knowledge and interest in celebrity news and pop culture and can help us create savvy, fun and informative digital-native video content. You will be responsible for daily tasks like page publishing assisting, organizing, and versioning videos and cutdown excerpts for social media platforms. You will learn how a high octane video department operates creatively.

Our internships are paid and required to work at least 20 hours per week.

This is an opportunity to join an iconic media brand as it continues to experience exponential digital growth. Page Six videos have received more than 50 million views in the last year.

Qualifications:Interest in working in online news environmentKnowledge of Adobe Premiere and basic editing skillsWorking knowledge of Macs and Mac Operating SystemsFamiliarity and use of mainstream video channels like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and more.Social media savvySimple photo editing skillsMust enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a mustAssisting on field and office production shoots
