HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:The

Retail

Marketing Manager - North America

will work cross-functionally to drive product adoption by communicating effectively with stakeholders in different teams and product categories. This requires a deep understanding of retail customers, business, products, levers for success, ability to deliver results, and skills to handle conflicting priorities.

LOCATION:

This position will work remotely out of a home office and will live in the Central or Eastern part of the US.

THE DETAILS:

Retail Marketing Strategy and ManagementDevelop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans tailored to the forestry, lawn & garden categories in the retail channel. This includes identifying in-store and online marketing opportunities that optimize sales playbooks and drive leads in the retail channel. Work cross-functionally to get those plans "off the ground".Lead the development of the Product Line Review deck with input/collaboration from cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Creative), ensuring marketing strategy is in line with and support of overall retail-specific business objectives.Along with Sales, project manage retail Product Line Reviews to deliver growth objectivesProvide in-store and online marketing expertise to improve retail shopping experience and convert salesAlong with sales, nurtures the relationship with the buyer to drive sales AFTER placementDevelop additional sales growth strategies with rep groups and sales teamManages marketing associate support for Plan-O-GramsUtilize Market Insights to leverage data to drive marketing strategy for key retailers in the U.S. and CanadaSupport retail-focused training for associates, rep groups, and customersThis role would also support product retail with the OEM channel as appropriateQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience5 + years marekting experience in retail or OEM channels, preferably with balanced experience in B2B and B2C marketingProven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in retail marketing, with a preference for experience in the outdoor power equipment industry working with key retailers including, but not limited to, The Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Tractor Supply Co., Canadian Tire, MenardsExcellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage team objectives and collaborate across departmentsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisionsCreative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills, including experience creating and presenting business proposals to internal stakeholders, C-level executives and retail buyers.Ability to communicate knowledgeably and fluently with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Creative Services along with a natural ability to relate to customers and prospectsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Remote with availability to work at corporate headquarters as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks' duration.20-30% travel (regional and national) associated with this positionFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000 to $125,000.
