Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Business Development Manager the Marketing Supervisor is responsible for direct oversight of the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) recruitment & marketing efforts while ensuring that budgeted goals are met. In addition, this position will be responsible for development and implementation of marketing and outreach activities to promote and maximize awareness of PACE within the community.

Essential Functions of the Job:Supervises the PACE marketing team and assists in streamlining the marketing processes to ensure quality and efficiency through Apptivo CRM, EPIC and NextGen as necessary.Efficiently tracks and gauges performance of marketing staff via PACE CRM and EPIC EHR as needed. Provides performance reports regularly throughout the month to the Director of Enrollment and Marketing and Marketing Manager.Assists in the design and development of sales and marketing material, coordinating with other departments such as External Affairs while taking the lead in marketing and social media projects such as website development.Assists in the development and maintenance of reports to assess and analyze marketing and outreach activities for the purpose of maximizing awareness, recruitment and meeting/exceeding enrollment goalsAssists in the development of an annual PACE marketing plan and oversees the implementation and maintenance of a PACE marketing plan.Develop and maintain relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to include but not limited to physicians, care coordinators, social workers, as well as long-term care facilities, housing developers, hospitals and related organizations.Works with PACE staff and key SYHealth departments to ensure positive experience for potential enrollees/candidates, enrolled participants and their families.Assists in convening community stakeholder advisory bodies to solicit input on PACE development.Assists in the process for procurement, printing, proofing, and inventory control.Ensures compliance with all applicable CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and/or Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) sales and marketing policies, rules, and regulations.Assists in the development of policies, procedures, and standards for all recruitment activities and member processes.Maintains a safe, secure, and legal work environment and ensures development of personal growth opportunities.Communicates job expectations with employees to achieve results; supervises employee performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplining; develops and enforces policies and procedures, productivity and quality standards; prepares work schedules and ensures employees have necessary resources to succeed.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Participates in the strategic planning and development for PACE.Performs other duties as assignedAdheres and ensures compliance with PACE Marketing rules and regulationsAdheres to SYHealth's and department's attendance and punctuality policies and practices.Must take and pass the State of California DHCS PACE and Medi-Cal Marketing Certification exam within 90 days of hireJob Requirements:

Education Required:

High School Diploma or GED EquivalentEducation Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in related or appropriate fieldMaster's Degree in related or appropriate fieldExperience Required:

Minimum of 2 years outreach and marketing experience in senior care, health care or related field3 years supervisory/management experienceKnowledge of and/or experience with HMO, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare, and senior care related sales and marketing experienceExperience Preferred:

Knowledge of PACE marketing regulations (state and federal)General sales/marketing experienceKnowledge and/or experience with the senior care market, including competitors, regulations, and available resourcesSystems and procedures to efficiently track and trend all sales activityTechniques and methods to organize and manage a departmentPrinciples and practices of health care service delivery, managed care, health care systems, and medical administrationAppropriate sales and marketing techniques to outreach to diverse social and ethnic groups and to communicate effectively with themPrinciples and techniques of effective supervision, including training and evaluation of subordinatesCertifications/Licenses Required:

CA valid driver's license and reliable transportationProof of current vehicle insurance (if applicable)Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:

Must possess the skills necessary to provide care for geriatric patients, must thrive in team environment, must possess good organizational and supervisory skills, ability to effectively handle difficult and unusual interpersonal situations.Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by SD PACE and approved by CMS.Universal Requirements:

Pre employment requirements include I-9, physical, positive background and reference check results, complete application, new hire orientation, pre employment PPDs.

HIPAA/Compliance

Maintain privacy of all patient, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need to know basis for business purposes.

Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report unethical, fraudulent or unlawful behavior or activity.

OSHA Compliance

Comply with all regulations and required schedules regarding OSHA training.

PPD Compliance

Required health screening to be performed annually.

Policies and Procedures Compliance

Responsible for following all SYHC Inc. policies and procedures.

Meal Period Compliance (Non-exempt employees only.)

Punch out before 5 hours from the start of shift for meal periods.

Sexual Harassment Training (Management employees only.)

Comply with all regulations and required schedules regarding sexual harassment training.
