The Product Design Manager, Post Booking Experience at Agoda is responsible for:

As Design Manager for our post booking experience team, you will help your product stakeholders shape and execute the vision for both Agoda post booking consumer products and our agent tooling experience through design leadership and strategic contributions. You’ll need to actively build connections with different function departments of the whole support business to provide great service to our customers and balance efficiencies for our agents. You’ll also be driving user research strategies through deep understandings on both short term and long term business priorities.

In this role, you’ll strike a balance between user-centric design and business objectives. You’ll empower your team to advocate for the user while aligning their efforts with our overarching business goals and KPIs. Your influence will extend beyond the design realm as you champion the user and business needs, driving forward industry-leading UX solutions for our post booking experience products at Agoda.

Day to day, it looks like:Manage scope of work for your team, and determine how to divide work amongst designers.Lead design strategy for complex initiatives and grow design leaders.Drive design vs business objectives and measurement alignment on core product initiatives.Ensure successful execution by your team, addressing questions, bottlenecks, dependencies, and conflicts as they arise.Maintain and apply a process for effective design.Build a healthy, high performing team, hiring designers to fill open headcount.Coach and mentor your direct reports to hone their competencies and grow in their careers.Lead projects to define and sell a coherent medium to long term vision, with milestones and short term actions.Represent your team upwards to your manager, advocating for team priorities and addressing any challenges.Partner with a design leadership team to help shape management practices.

Product Design Manager at Agoda means you have a track record of:Leading design strategy for complex initiatives and growing design leaders.Leading through ambiguity, using soft skills to persuade and build alignment with senior leaders.Using holistic thinking to identify customer experience opportunities.Partnering with a design leadership team to help shape management practices.Incorporating advancements in product design to guide team skills and practices.Developing a deep understanding of current native technologies and design patterns.
