(Onsite - 4 days per week in office)Overview:The role of the Senior Manager, Brand & Product Marketing is to be a strategic marketing leader, to not only help drive the marketing team forward through functional excellence, but who can also be a key cross-functional partner who can help drive operational maturity when it comes to brand and product go-to-market development. The senior manager will play a key role in the implementation of key business initiatives and will work closely with a broad group of stakeholders to carry out the team mission.The impact you'll make:Engage key stakeholders to drive the development of the Weedmaps value proposition, positioning, target and messaging for identified brand and product initiatives.Implement a systematic strategy to achieve core business goals and maintain stakeholder engagement.Lead cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive go-to-market plans across all consumer touchpoints to generate awareness, drive conversion and reinforce the brand narrative at every point along the journey.In alignment with company key Initiatives, collaborate with the revenue team, product marketing team and marketing stakeholders to drive the development of the marketing briefs defining the value proposition, positioning, target and messaging.Lead cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive 360-degree programs across all consumer touchpoints to generate awareness, drive conversion and reinforce the brand narrative at every point along the journey.Gather and review performance data to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Conduct market research and gather actionable insights to develop and/or enhance marketing strategies.Collaborate with the Market Insights team to review customer profiles, effectiveness of ad campaigns and evaluate overall health of our brands.Develop actionable recommendations for combining relevant market elements, focused hierarchy of messaging, and other branding strategies as needed.Ensure an in-depth understanding of the relevant markets including developing a clear perspective of customer profiles and their needs.Ensure integration across disciplines and be the keeper of a centralized marketing roadmap/calendar to optimize investment.Hire, manage, evaluate performance and mentor a team in a highly collaborative environment.Build strong teams while also being able to deliver and work through others across the enterprise.What you've accomplished:7-10 years in brand planning and product marketing within CPG and ecommerce sectors, managing multi-channel, multi-million dollar brands to achieve high-volume results in lean organizations.Must have in-depth knowledge of ecommerce and technology ecosystems to ensure effective management of B2C and B2B Product Marketing operationsExperience working with B2B and B2C products as well as with small and large clients.Knowledge of authentic cannabis culture.Methodical thinker and a pragmatic doer that can motivate/enroll internal and external stakeholders to deliver measurable results in a lean, fast-paced environment.Experience with research methodologies such as brand health studies, customer tracker studies, segmentation studies, maxdiff studies, focus groups, ethnographies, copy testing, survey design, and conjoint analysis.Strategic in nature, insights oriented, problem-solving driven.Demonstrated project management experience with expertise in managing multiple projects through competing and conflicting priorities and deadlines.Ability to combine a disciplined approach with flexibility in a fast paced environment.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to work with and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.Supervisory/management experience with ability to build, lead and mentor others in a highly collaborative environment, while also being able to deliver and work through others across the enterprise.Strong organizational and problem solving skillsAbility to develop short term and long term roadmaps and work plans.Prior experience managing relevant workflows across various resources and mitigating emergencies as needed.Ability to influence others strategically, facilitate discussions and develop collaborative solutions.Experience with syndicated research such as Nielsen, MRI, Simmons.The base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $153,000 per year2024 Benefits for Full-Time, Regular Employees:Employee - employer paid premium 100%Company contribution to a HSA when electing the High Deductible Health PlanFor plans that offer coverage to your dependents, you pay a small contributionFree access to CALM app for employees and dependentsEmployee TrainingMental Health seminars and Q&A sessionsBasic Life & AD&D - employer paid 1x salary up to $250,000401(k) Retirement Plan (with employer match contribution)Generous PTO, Paid Sick Leave, and Company HolidaysSupplemental, voluntary benefitsStudent Loan Repayment/529 Education Savings - including a company contributionFSA (Medical, Dependent, Transit and Parking)
