The Digital Channels Strategy and Optimization Strategist leads the function which manages Wells Fargo's valuable marketing inventory across its owned digital media channels. This includes the public website, the online banking website, the mobile app. These channels regularly engage tens of millions of customers and serve as a crucial touchpoint for prospects. They are an engine for Wells Fargo to grow and deepen customer relationships, enhance customer experience, and strengthen the brand.The Owned Media Channels Strategy and Revenue Optimization group is part of the Enterprise Marketing Services organization within the Consumer Lending business. While it sits within Consumer Lending organization, this group supports all consumer lines of business including the Consumer and Small Business Banking group, Wealth & Investment Management, and Brand Marketing. The Enterprise Marketing Services organization has several enterprise centers of excellence (COE) for marketing, and this group is one of them.This high-profile role is responsible for a) optimizing marketing campaigns in our digital channels, b) leading channel strategy and governance, and c) continually increasing channel effectiveness via the application of new capabilities and strategies. They are a digital marketing tech and data savvy group. They partner closely with the line of business marketing teams and other COEs including Marketing Execution, Marketing Technology Platforms, Marketing Channel Analytics, the In-House Creative Agency, and Digital Customer Experience.This is an exciting and transformative time for Wells Fargo marketing due to the extensive investment in and deployment of next generation marketing platforms. You will be a leader in a new chapter of Wells Fargo marketing fueled by modernized technology, data access, and analytics resources.**In this role, you will:**Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant to support our marketing team within. The Marketing organization develops marketing strategies and delivers marketing campaigns that support business objectives. This organization operates with a customer-first approach rooted in customer analytics, continuous test and learn and ongoing consumer research. We strive to meet customers where they are in their borrowing journey and communicate with them with relevant messaging in their preferred channel. The Marketing Channel Strategy & Revenue Optimization center of excellence maximizes the revenue of Wells Fargo's marketing channels while curating best-in-class experiences for customers. The team estimates that Wells Fargo's owned marketing channels are poised for hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental revenue over the next 18 months from just a modest gain in customer engagement leading to conversion rate. A large driver of that opportunity will come from fine-tuning the selection of the most-relevant and most-valuable targeted messages we put in front of customers and prospects who come to Wells Fargo's channels.**Drive channel strategy and governance to maximize the impact of our marketing channels as enterprise assets**+ Lead the implementation of a strategic vision of personalized marketing at scale. Translate strategic vision into tangible strategic marketing programs, including generating recommendations for segmentation and messaging optimizations to increase personalization. Strive to continuously improve the customer journey and develop dynamic marketing across a range of products and services while evangelizing best practices.+ Operate enterprise-wide audience management, targeting, creative strategy, and personalization platforms.+ Enhance, gain alignment on, and implement data-driven channel strategies including placement rules, arbitration logic, contact frequency, etc.+ Oversee cross-LOB campaign monitoring and prioritization through historical and scenario analysis.**Advance channel effectiveness via the deployment of new capabilities for targeting, personalization, customer experience, and measurement/analytics**+ Provide planning, requirements, and expert consultation for new platforms, experiences, and methodologies.+ Lead the adoption of new capabilities via pilots and roll outs with multi-disciplinary teams.+ Measure impacts of new platforms and experiences on customer and business outcomes and identify areas of optimization.+ Support change management initiatives to socialize and train marketers on new requirements and processes related to channels capabilities enhancements.**Provide thought leadership to marketing and non-marketing stakeholders**+ Educate stakeholders on the customer and business value of the channels and socialize strategic plans.+ Drive impact as an independent thought leader in defining, analyzing, and solving highly complex, interdependent problems, and will do so in a collaborative context with both internal upstream and downstream internal partners, as well as executive management.+ Champion one-to-one marketing, customer centricity, enterprise governance, and AI solutions as the underpinning of successful marketing across businesses and channels.+ Build and implement new routines and procedures needed to drive business outcomes and achieve target operating model, resulting in incremental marketing financial contribution through growth in personalization.+ Successfully navigate a matrixed organization leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.**Required Qualifications**+ 5+ of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.**Desired Qualifications**+ 5+ years of experience in marketing channel management, optimization, and analytics.+ Experience in financial services, especially banking.+ 4 + years of leadership experience+ Experience managing teams who use advanced, enterprise-scale digital marketing technologies such as predictive analytics decision engines, Data Management Platforms, Customer Data Platforms, Dynamic Creative Optimization tools, Multi-Channel Attribution, etc.+ Highly analytical and understands concepts related to predictive modeling, AI, data science, analytics, simulation, and forecasting.+ Experience in personalization and journeys in multi-channel environments (online, mobile, email, call centers, brick-and-mortar)+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts into simplified solutions in a straightforward and understandable manner to multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders. Proven success achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from cross-functional partners in other teams.+ Demonstrated ability to deliver incremental business profit via marketing and to think critically about the next best opportunity.+ A "building" (entrepreneurial) mentality, comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating a pioneering playbook for others to follow rather than following rote steps.+ Persuasive storytelling skills - ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts and effectively communicate actions and outcomes.+ Understanding of growth and loyalty marketing principles and marketing technology trends.+ Candidate will be data-driven, growth-oriented, collaborative and innovative, forward looking, and customer-centric.**Job Expectations:**+ Work on-site at stated locations on the job opening.+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule.+ This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.+ No relocation assistance**Pay Range**Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
