**Role:** Learning Designer with Nursing Background**Division:** Higher Education**Working Setup:** Remote**Minimum full-time salary is $100,000**This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan, and information on benefits offered is here.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Collaborate with subject matter experts, nursing educators, and other stakeholders to develop high-quality learning materials and courses.+ Design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials, including online courses, simulations, and multimedia content, that meet the needs of nursing students and professionals.+ Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner data to inform the design and development of instructional content.+ Ensure all learning materials are aligned with current nursing standards, best practices, and accreditation requirements.+ Utilize instructional design models and theories to create learner-centered, engaging, and effective educational experiences (LX).+ Integrate interactive elements, assessments, and feedback mechanisms to enhance learning outcomes and learner engagement.+ Apply user experience (UX) principles to ensure educational tools and platforms are intuitive, accessible, and efficient to use.+ Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in nursing education and instructional design.+ Provide training and support to educators and instructors on the effective use of instructional materials and technologies.**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.+ Proven experience in nursing practice and education, with a strong understanding of healthcare standards and practices.+ Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and educational technology.+ Strong knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, and educational psychology (LX).+ Proficiency in designing and developing digital learning materials, including e-learning courses, simulations, and multimedia content.+ Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and best practices for designing intuitive and accessible educational tools.+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.+ Passion for improving healthcare education and enhancing learner outcomes.**What to expect from Pearson**Did you know Pearson is one of the 10 most innovative education companies of 2022?At Pearson, we add life to a lifetime of learning so everyone can realize the life they imagine.
