DescriptionWe're looking for a Global Head of Content Marketing to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that resonates with our diverse audiences. From thought-provoking articles and engaging social media campaigns to inspirational videos and technical deep dives, you and your team of content creators, journalists, and social media experts will craft compelling narratives that inform, educate, and consistently raises the bar for our customers.Success in this role requires ability to earn trust with stakeholder teams (e.g. product marketing, PR, developer relations) in a large, matrixed organization, ability to navigate within ever-evolving, ambiguous contexts, and deliver results against tight timelines.Key job responsibilities- Establish a customer-obsessed, multi-year, content marketing and messaging strategy across Startup, ISV and Small Business.- Manage and coach a high-performing team and empower them to push boundaries.- Be an iconic collaborator with product marketing, global campaigns, PR, developer relations, and field marketing teams to align content initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and amplification of messaging, in line with your over-arching content strategy.- Leverage data and analytics to continuously measure and optimize content performance against goals, refining strategies and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.- Establish and maintain content governance frameworks, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and adherence to best practices across multiple channels and platforms.- Identify and leverage operational efficiencies across the content creation lifecycle, including agency and workflow consolidation.- Create a centralized mechanism to inform stakeholders of asset delivery, manage trade-offs, and enable easy access to content for stakeholders.- Identify and drive operational efficiency through budget oversight, agency management, localization management, and the use of Generative AI.- Create and reinforce content marketing best practices to deliver bar-raising content quality.- Work with segment leadership across field-marketing teams, to ensure content programs align to the delivery of segment goals.About the teamAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
