Location: this is a **hybrid** position, candidates must live within commuting-distance to one of our health offices with preference to Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking a collaborative, empathetic, and highly-motivated professional with extensive Pharmacy and Drug content experience and a passion to develop the tools needed for creating best in class drug content for our customers. Medi-Span technology products are critical components of the clinical workflow when embedded in today’s electronic health record systems and pharmacy systems. The Technical Product Manager will work on the Editorial Engineering team supporting Wolters Kluwer Health’s Clinical Effectiveness (CE) organization to drive drug data creation across the entire content pipeline; from data acquisition to the availability of data to Product Engineering teams, this role will be responsible for the requirement gathering and delivery of Editorial solutions. PLEASE NOTE: this is **not** a content writing position. This is a technical role enabling the content writing teams.Key Responsibilities:+ Drive the internally-facing product vision through a comprehensive understanding of requirements acquired from editorial, engineering, innovation, and external product sources.+ Become a company expert on workflows, features, functionality, and requirements related to editorial platform technology and operations processes.+ Assemble platform requirements from multiple sources and communicate requirements to Editorial Engineering software development to achieve rapid deployment and adoption of the software.+ Develop business cases, product concept documents, engineerable specifications, and story backlogs to drive the development of Editorial Platform features.+ Prioritize product backlogs, establish schedules, and meet deadlines while using strong communication and project management skills to convey risks and progress of editorial software efforts.+ Support the prioritization of competing projects to create an appropriately ordered and streamed workflow for the Editorial Engineering development teams.Key Requirements:+ Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, medical or engineering field, supported by education, training, and/or certification in a pharmaceutical specialty+ 5+ years experience in pharmacy or health technology-related role with exposure to drug content+ Experience with pharmacy/drug content in some capacity is required+ PharmD or Registered Pharmacist strongly preferred.+ Experience with clinical informatics and electronic workflows in the health IT domain strongly preferred.+ Experience in an Agile environment, including development of story backlogs and product concept documentation strongly preferred.Other Experience or Abilities+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams+ Demonstrated experience as leader with a strong knowledge base and confidence in decision-making. Comfortable making recommendations to the senior leadership team with the knowledge that not every recommendation will be taken.+ Demonstrated ability to understand and manage constituents’ expectations and expressions of priority through continuous communication with those stakeholders.+ Strong pharmaceutical knowledge base and experience with pharmaceutical health-care IT products.+ Strong prioritization, decision making, organization, and communication skills+ Ability to build relationships with business partners and to influence within Engineering organization and other key stakeholders, including content, product management, sales, service, finance, and operations.+ Excellent interpersonal skills, with history of building collaborative working relationships+ Analysis, modeling, and knowledge representation.Travel Requirements: Minimal**The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by most people assigned to this job.
