Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.**Your New Role...**The **Public Relations Coordinator** will support the Public Relations/Communications team that manages a collective group of US Networks including Discovery Channel, TBS, TruTV, TNT, Adult Swim and TCM. This role will also provide administrative support to senior leadership.An ideal candidate will be organized, pro-active, flexible, take direction well and efficiently prioritize competing tasks. This position can be demanding and fast-paced and requires someone who has a positive can-do attitude with good judgment, initiative, and strong verbal and written communication skills.This position will be based in New York, with a 3-day a week in-office requirement.**Your Role Accountabilities…**+ Administrative duties for Group SVP and network SVPs including but not limited to calendars, phones, travel plans and expense reports+ Asset creation, collection, and organization for network and departmental priorities (including but not limited to monthly media alerts, episode descriptions, clip reports, uploading YouTube videos, captions and photo coordination, press mailers and promotional collateral, etc.)+ Assists with weekly clip report and other pertinent press communications+ Generates monthly highlights press releases for multiple networks+ Develops/maintains media lists and conduct media follow-up for specified priorities+ Distributes press releases, media alerts and blasts to media lists+ Maintains and manages network press sites including updating show/talent info and refreshing available assets as needed+ Develops or curates support materials for network talent including one sheets, bios, and select show releases.+ Executes PR tactics including SMTs, RMTs, key events, and appearances as part of PR team+ Fulfills incoming tape, artwork and materials requests as needed/assigned+ Provides national and local market press support for select priorities, working closely with PR Managers/Director/VP+ Researches and updates department press lists and editorial calendars+ Support the updating of network information within listings for consumer and trade publications+ Coordinates talent travel and itineraries+ Is responsible for all department invoicing, onboarding new vendors, creating POs and checking on invoice payments, in addition to managing expense reports and maintaining department subscriptions**Qualifications and Experience…**+ 2-3 years in public relations related work or relevant equivalent.+ Must be able to manage multiple projects, as well as have a solid understanding of editorial and media relations.+ Must be well-organized and possess the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously.+ Detail-oriented, flexibility to work on multiple projects at once.+ Ideal candidate must effectively troubleshoot with an eye toward anticipating, identifying and forming strategic solutions.+ Previous agency or television experience is a plus.+ Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills a must.+ Bachelor Degree preferred, Public Relations/Communications**How We Get Things Done…**This last bit is probably the most important! Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $37,128.00 - $68,952.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
