Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.The RoleThe Studio Strategy team works closely with our Netflix Studio team to develop strategy and support the execution of that vision. The Netflix Studio is the largest studio in the world producing Netflix original series and films. The Studio Strategy team works closely with our partners in production management, innovation, creative services, labor relations, and facilities planning to provide insightful and strategic guidance on core business decisions. The team is a high-impact group within the organization that works on strategic initiatives, cutting across functions and markets. The Associate position will be an integral member of the Studio Strategy team and will be responsible for providing support and analysis across the breadth of work provided by the team.Responsibilities:+ Developing strategic frameworks to guide decision-making on key Studio initiatives+ Preparing valuation analyses (model building, scenario testing, etc.) to support our Studio teams in their deal negotiations+ Partnering closely with Studio stakeholders to set the strategic foundation for new initiatives (e.g., Studio Tech Innovation)+ Conducting analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators+ Creating insightful presentations that summarize analysis and presenting them to groups of Netflix managers and executives+ Compiling thoughtful post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement+ Develop a deep understanding of industry trends as well as competitive threats and opportunitiesQualifications:+ 4-year degree in a relevant field.+ 2-5 years of experience at an investment bank, management consulting firm, private equity, hedge fund, and/or internal strategy. Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is preferred (but not required).+ High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem-solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel skills. Familiarity with statistical concepts and analysis.+ Thrives in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.+ Intellectually curious, motivated, and disciplined. Can effectively work autonomously.+ Adept at writing, facilitating, and presenting analyses.+ Strong communication and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional parters.Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
