Content Specialist_

KTUL is looking for a Content Specialist!**This person will manage all aspects of daily news coverage across all platforms by creating content to increase viewer ratings and digital engagement, including but not limited to:**+ Point person for daily news gathering for KTUL’s content bank+ Identify, write and post content across all KTUL platforms+ Listen to scanners, monitor websites/social media, and react to breaking news+ Develop and maintain contacts and sources to enterprise story ideas+ Produce and time newscasts+ Assign and track news crews**Requirements and Qualifications:**+ Minimum of 2 years of producing or assignment desk experience+ Commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy+ Ability to communicate effectively+ Basic computer knowledge/word processing skills, knowledge of iNews and Avid is a plus+ General knowledge and interest in local, national, and world news+ Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines+ Good time management skills+ Critical thinker and problem-solving skills+ Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging social media platforms+ Bachelor's degree with a major in Journalism is also preferredSinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!**About Sinclair**Sinclair, Inc.
