The starting salary for new State of Iowa Judicial employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range. Multiple positions are available in Northwest Iowa. The pay range is $28.52 to $46.54/hour depending on relevant courtroom experience as a certified Court or Verbatim Reporter. (Voice Reporter) Plus possible additional special pay allowance per advanced certification. These certifications are: RMR or RDR and CRR, for stenographic reporters. Voice reporter certifications are RVR and CM. If a reporter transitions or has transitioned from Federal employment to state employment the FCRR certification can be accepted in lieu of the CRR certification. A copy of your certificate and renewals are required and additional validation necessary to continue special pay allowance.Current open positions: * 3A - District Court Judge vacancy * 3A - primarily working with District Associate Judges * 3B - primarily working with District Associate Judges * 3B - Woodbury County, Sioux City. (2 positions), primarily working in juvenile court and criminal law enforcement center.
