Newscast Producer_

WKRC has an immediate opening for a producer to join our four member health team. A successful candidate would be directly involved in daily content for newscasts and digital platforms. They would also produce a 90 minute medical program each week. They would work very closely with daily newscast producers to ensure clear communication about the content of medical segments. This producer is expected to come up with story ideas and research stories daily.**The ideal candidate will have:**+ Solid news judgment+ Be a compelling and accurate writer+ Be able to multitask and manage time to put together an exciting and informative newscast+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment+ Strong leadership and communication skills+ The ability to execute news strategies and goals across all platforms+ Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must+ Proficient in newsroom systems, such as iNews**Experience:**+ Must have at least some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered+ A Journalism degree is preferredSinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!**About Sinclair**Sinclair, Inc.
