Overview : The Content Manager for Windham Mountain Club leads our digital content efforts, elevating our brand’s presence across all channels. The Content Manager will oversee organic social media and content production and is responsible for crafting messages about core Windham Mountain Club offerings. You will initiate and lead ideation and storytelling across Windham Mountain Club with the goal of expanding the brand while continuing to connect with public winter guests, prospective members, and current member audiences.This is a role for an innovative, bold thinker who doesn’t take the comment section personally. You love coming up with fresh creative concepts and developing social strategies that are equal parts inspiring and memorable. This list of duties is not intended to represent all the tasks you may be asked to perform.+ Social Media Management:+ Serve as the day-to-day manager of the Windham Mountain Club brand across social media platforms and channels.+ Write inspiring, on-brand captions and persuasive copy that reflect the unique experiences offered by Windham Mountain Club.+ Assist in managing and facilitating influencer relationships and influencer marketing, working with external agencies as directed.+ Monitor and analyze key social media metrics and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.+ Stay up to date with social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.+ Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.+ Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines and positioning.+ Content Creation and Management:+ Lead the development and production of high-quality content across social media and digital channels, ensuring consistency with messaging.+ Concept, edit, and produce “made for social” videos through original storytelling.+ Build unique, long and short-form social videos tailored to specific social media platforms; bring to life priority content themes and marketing initiatives.+ Create and manage a content calendar to ensure a steady flow of engaging and relevant content.+ Work closely with the marketing team to align content strategies with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.+ Coordinate and manage photo and video shoots, ensuring high-quality content production.+ Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.+ Maintain the digital asset library, ensuring easy access to content and media assets for the marketing team and internal WMC teams.+ During the winter season, oversee all snow reporting content operations and resort digital signage.+ Collaboration and Support:+ Oversee and lead the Content Coordinator in the execution of their responsibilities.+ Assist the Director of Marketing & Communications in curating and producing content consistent with brand messaging and business objectives.+ Assist the marketing department as needed with creation of email and web copy.+ Collaborate with all departments of the Windham Mountain Club team to develop and oversee collateral to support revenue generation and guest experience.+ Assist in guest correspondence regarding general inquiries and questions on social media.+ Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing & CommunicationsJob Qualifications :+ 3+ years managing content and social media for a luxury or resort brand with a highly engaged and passionate community.+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, communications, or a related field.+ Deep experience editing, producing, and publishing social-first content; demonstrated track record of utilizing multiple social platforms to build awareness, engage new and existing customers, and increase sales.+ Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and photo/video production techniques.+ Passionate and knowledgeable about current and emerging social trends, editorial formats, creators, and platform features.+ Self-starter, organized, with a strong eye towards continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including refined presentation skills.+ Advanced skiing/snowboarding ability is highly desired for this position.+ Ability to serve guests and fellow staff in a prompt, courteous, professional manner.+ Well organized, attentive to details, and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.+ Must be versatile and adapt easily to varied job assignments.+ Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with special events, both indoors and out.Work Schedule and Conditions: Weekends and holidays are our busiest times and availability to work is expected. Most weeks will be five day, forty hour work weeks, but you may be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during holidays.
