Description:Develop custom Shopify themes and templates based on project requirements Translate design mock-ups and specifications into fully functional Shopify websites and applications Update and modify existing Shopify stores to enhance UI/UX design and add new features Test, develop, and customize third-party Shopify apps to extend store functionalities Manage and create Shopify accounts, including account setup and optimization Manage Shopify app updates, new app installations and other app-related technical tasks as needed Manage backend databases tied to Shopify (Heroku) in order to improve uptime and disaster recovery Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product developers, to ensure timely project delivery Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify development and implementation Assist with the selection, implementation and transition to a PIM solution integrated with Shopify Ensure UX, performance, SEO, security, and accessibility best practices are implemented and upheld.Skills:Html, Css, Javascript, heroku, linux, Web development, google tag manager, E-commerceTop Skills Details:Html,Css,Javascript,heroku,linux,Web development,google tag managerAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Requirements: A minimum of 4 years’ experience Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past Shopify projects In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including liquid templating language, APIs, and backend functionalities Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, Liquid and responsive design principles Experience with Shopify theme development and customization Familiarity with testing third-party Shopify apps Familiarity with backend database systems and management (Heroku, AWS) Ability to work with PostgreSQL and backend systems such as Linux moving to Shopify Experience with PIM solutions that integrate with Shopify and other 3rd party solutions Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Comprehensive knowledge of Shopify Liquid Template Language and Shopify APIs You have an eye for detail and love bringing sites to life with animation and clean structured code You can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing specialists, product owners and project managers, to ensure project success and timely delivery You ensure UX, performance, SEO, security, and accessibility best practices are implemented Ability to problem solve, both creatively and technicallyExperience Level:Expert LevelAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
